BRONZE SCULPTURES
Each of my pieces starts as an original line drawing that is then used as a reference work as the piece are modeled in wax. I then make and correct copies, before these are used in a “lost wax” casting process, that is professionally done for me by a small manufacturing jewelery firm. The metal used is “Silicon Bronze”
As every stage result in blemishes and distortion, each casting is individually corrected and polished before being ready to rivet onto their genuine leather backing. Hand stitching of the backing completes the task.
Given the degree of individual attention that goes into every stage, every example differs from the other making it unique in it’s own right.
The process is so time consuming that they will never be mass-produced and only those that are ready at a given time, are offered for sale.
